Vintage sterling silver pendant featuring a detailed relief of a reclining maiden holding a small bouquet, a design often associated with the Virgo zodiac sign in mid century European jewelry. The border has a soft rope cut texture that highlights the center motif, giving it a classic look.
The back is stamped "S & K Silver", a mark used on mid century export pieces made by the British firm Slade and Kempton. The pendant now hangs from a simple sterling silver jump ring, added as a functional replacement for the original bail. The silver content has been confirmed through acid testing and shows the expected reaction for sterling.
The pendant measures approximately 1 1/8" long including the bail and 7/8" wide, and it weighs 3.8 grams.
