Beautiful genuine vintage Bakelite necklace in the classic butterscotch color, featuring a long 28" brass chain with natural patina and geometric phenolic resin components. The tapered pendant has strong marbling and glow typical of early Catalin/Bakelite from the 1930s–40s.
Authenticity:
The piece tested positive for Bakelite using Simichrome/metal polish. The Q-tip showed a clear yellow/amber reaction, confirming phenolic resin.
